Working on Home School Cooking Curriculum

Sorry I haven’t been updating the site. I’ve spent the last 2 months working on a curriculum for home school students based on what I’ve learned over the last year of teaching.

Five lessons are complete and currently being tested and evaluated. I’ll keep you posted when it is available to purchase.

Homeschool Class Update

Level 1 Classes will now be on Fridays from 11am-1pm and Level 3 on Tuesdays from 11am-1pm. I still have a few slots left open, so email or give me a call.

Classes start on September 7th and 10th.

I’m so excited because I’m making some adjustments so the class is more in line with the NC State guidelines for Foods curriculum!

Fall Class Days

Level 3 classes will be on Tuesdays for any and all returning students from 11am-1pm.

The new Level 1 class will be on Thursdays from 11am-1pm.

Spread the word, and if you want to sign up, please call or email me to get on the list. I will be at Girl’s Camp all of this week, so email will be best. Hurry so you don’t get left out. My fliers will be at the Wings Expo for home school resources at the end of the week.

Classes start the first week of September. I’ll update their respective pages after camp.

Fall Classes

Quick not to see if there is interest in Fall classes. They would start after Labor Day in September. There would be one Level 1 class and one Level 3 class. If interested please email me a forloveoffood@hotmail.com and let me know what day is best. I’ll pick the class day based on which one works the best for the most people interested.

Summer class for teens!

I have just added the dates, times and meals for the summer class. It will be a fast paced ride geared to take your teen from so so in the kitchen to confident and competent. Call now to grab a space–704-302-6384. Classes start June 22 at 10am–noon. We will meet Tuesday and Thursday through July 29th for a total of 14 sessions. The cost is $20 a class ($280), with half ($140) being due up front. Please talk to me about summer vacations you may have scheduled so we can deduct that from your total cost.

There is also 2 spots left for the level 1 home school class that starts on Wednesday, May 19th at 10am. This class is $15 a class.

Whoo! Life is finally settling down to a manageable level again. I have to admit that I’ve missed cooking class, and I am ready to get started again. Classes will start up the first full week in May, right after I finish running my 3rd half marathon. I hope I can still walk! Head over to the Level pages and give me a call.
